
Michigan Pops Orchestra is overjoyed to announce that our concert will be on Saturday, April 19th, at 7 p.m. at the Michigan Theater!
Led by Music Director Luca Antonucci and Executive Director Pavani Anand, the Michigan Pops Orchestra presents "Pops En Pointe" on April 19th, 2025 at 7:00 P.M. at the Michigan Theater.
As the University of Michigan's only fully student-run, student-directed orchestra, Michigan Pops is putting on a show guaranteed to excite audience members of all ages as we play music guaranteed to make our audience feel the groove and dance along! Join us for a night of fan-favorites, from a medley of ABBA’s greatest hits to Alexander Borodin’s Polovtsian Dances, and so much more! “Pops En Pointe” will be an engaging and dynamic show utilizing a unique combination of stage antics, vocal performers, multimedia, and special effects.
Pops appeals to the music-lover in everyone with its diverse repertoire, ranging from classical pieces to popular film scores. Working under the guidance of the University Activities Center, the Michigan Pops Orchestra’s members comprise a diverse group of undergraduate and graduate students studying anything from English to Engineering. Come join Michigan Pops in “Pops Saves the World” on Sunday, November 24!
Tickets are $5 for students, $9 for adults, and free at the door for children/students in Public Schools and Ann Arbor Daycares. Seniors 65+ are also free at the door! Tickets are sold at Mason Hall 4/14-4/18, online through MUTO, and AT THE DOOR the day of the concert.
