Michigan Pops Orchestra is overjoyed to announce that our concert will be on Saturday, April 20th, at 7 p.m. at the Michigan Theater!

Led by Music Director Luca Antonucci and Executive Director Pavani Anand, the Michigan Pops Orchestra presents “Tales from the Realm of Pops” on April 20, 2024 at 7:00 P.M. at the Michigan Theater. As the University of Michigan’s only student-run, student-directed orchestra, Michigan Pops is putting on a show guaranteed to excite audience members of all ages as we explore “Tales from the Realm of Pops,” a recount of mystical fairytales and folklore from across the universe, and the music to go along with it! Join us as we journey through the streets of Agrabah in Aladdin, the enchanting tales of Scheherazade, and the epic adventures of Middle-earth in Lord of the Rings, among many other exciting places we will visit.

“Tales from the Realm of Pops” will be a dynamic and engaging show utilizing a unique combination of vocal performers, multimedia, stage antics, and special effects. We invite you all to join the fun!

Tickets are $5 for students, $9 for adults, and free at the door for children/students in Public Schools and Ann Arbor Daycares. Seniors 65+ are also free at the door! Tickets are sold at Mason Hall 4/15-4/19, online through MUTO, and at the door the day of the concert.

Prospective members are welcome to sign up for our email list here. Don’t hesitate to email us at michiganpops@umich.edu with any questions, and as always, #popslove :)
